Picking and choosing places for us to recommend to people that decided to come and visit our little corner of the Universe isn’t easy. State of Washington has many sights and locations that you have to visit, but we realize that not everyone can afford to wander around and visit hundreds of location during their week-long or even two-week long vacation. Some places in Washington shouldn’t be missed though and Marymere Falls is definitly one of them.
Places to visit in Washington – Marymere Falls
Marymere Falls are located in the Olympic National Park, a location that you will most definitely want to visit, as it has a lot of breath taking sights, next to Marymere Falls. The falls themselves are located near Lake Crescent and are accessed b a one-mile long dirt trail. You will find instructions how to get to the falls at the Olympic National Park Visitor Center.
Total height of the falls measures some 90ft and they are a sight to look at. Despite being one of the more popular tourist attractions due to natural beauty, ease of access and proximity to Highway 101, Marymere Falls don’t have huge groups of people meandering around that will spoil your visit. That’s one of the advantages of a Port Angeles visit as I was already saying on the homepage. Check us out and don’t forget to get in touch with me if you need any help finding your way around the Olympic National Park. It’s what I’m here for.
